Legal Assistance Program

The District of Delaware Probation Office maintains a Legal Assistance Program to assist people on supervision with resolving civil legal issues that could become barriers to a successful reentry.  The types of issues typically encountered by this program include reinstatement of driver's licenses, child support and custody orders and landlord tenant issues.  A student from the Widener University Delaware Law School screens the cases, and works with a licensed attorney on the cases.  Please speak with Chief Probation Officer Margaret Bray for more information about this program.
